At Gosfield Lake, we’re a third-generation, family-run waterski club built on a real love for the sport and the people in it. It’s a relaxed, welcoming place where faces quickly become familiar — whether you’re here for your first go or out on the water every week.
From complete beginners stepping onto skis for the very first time, to elite athletes training at world level, we offer expert coaching, top-tier equipment, and an international-standard facility trusted by some of the country’s best.
With a packed calendar of events and a team of experienced coaches and drivers, Gosfield Lake is a place to learn, improve, and push your limits — whatever your starting point.
Water skiing is the most established feature of Gosfield Lake. Our boats are full tournament specification. Skis and wetsuits are available to our visitors and we are on hand to assist at all times.

Each members tow is coached on a 1:2:1 format and we work with our members continually throughout the season to enhance their skiing capabilities on and off the water. Guest sets and lessons on an individual coaching basis can be arranged by appointment.

We run a Ski Nautique 200 alongside our Ski Nautique Carbon, we've been partnered with Ski Nautique for 33 years, these are the most commonly used tournament boats in international competitions, allowing our tournament skiers to train replicating tournament conditions including SurePath.
Great skiing starts with great kit, and we make sure every visitor has access to it. Our equipment store is stocked with top-of-the-range skis to suit every level and discipline — slalom, trick, combo and beginner — alongside premium wetsuits in a full range of sizes to keep you comfortable on the water whatever the weather.
Gosfield Lake is the perfect environment for triathletes and open water swimmers to train. The sheltered 36-acre lake provides calm, consistent conditions ideal for building confidence and improving technique.

Vince has been skiing for 46 years and has run Gosfield Ski since 1992. A former GB team skier, he's still competing today, with a personal best of 2@10.25m. As a Senior Coach, International Driver, Judge, and Homologator, he also serves as Team Captain for the Junior GB Teams
Seb has been skiing since he could walk! A multiple National Champion, he has represented Great Britain at four European Championships and the Junior Worlds in Calgary. Having grown up on the water, he joined the Gosfield Ski crew last year as both a driver and coach.
Earning 21 individual National Titles, twice becoming European Vice Champion, and securing multiple Top 20 finishes at the World Championships Ben has a wealth of achievements to his name! Ben has served as Head Coach for over 20 Development Days and British Squad Training programs, and continues to coach at Gosfield!

For 30 years Gosfield Lake has been one of the UK's leading water ski facilities and a regular host of National Tournaments — and with our Ski & Stay package, you can experience it without ever leaving the site. Choose from two beautifully appointed, hotel-style rooms, each with a plush queen-size double, a pull-out sofa and a modern ensuite. Our kit room has everything you'll need, from wetsuits and lifejackets to slalom, trick, jump, combo and kids' skis, boards, inflatables, ropes and handles — all paired with our top-of-the-line 2021 Ski Nautique. And when it's time to refuel, our welcoming on-site café has you covered, whether that's a fresh morning coffee, a light snack between sessions, or a hearty meal after a day on the water.
